101 in 1001 days

I have lost count of the times that I have started this 101 in 1001 days challenge and then either forgotten about it or just restarted it.

No more procrastination, I will be checking in on this list once a week. I love lists and checking things off and this is an ultimate one, no more failure.

Start: Monday 1st January 2018
End: Monday 28th September 2020

The Mission
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined.
Tasks must also be realistic and challenging.

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Some common goal setting tips:
Be decisive. Know exactly what you want, why you want it, and how you plan to achieve it.
Stay focused. Any goal requires sustained focus from beginning to end. Constantly evaluate your progress.
Welcome failure. Frequently, very little is learned from a venture that did not experience failure in some form. Failure presents the opportunity to learn and makes the success more worthy.
Write down your goals. It clarifies your thinking and reinforces your commitment.
Keep your goals in sight. Review them frequently, and ensure that they are always at the forefront of your thinking.

    WOW!

What a list. There are some really cool and amazing stuff on here. I really like the idea although not sure if I could do it myself. I may look into a smaller version… 50 things to do in 365 days??? I’m writing 12 experiences I want to do on 12 months, but yours sounds really interesting.

I wish you lots and lots of luck with it and look forward to watching your progress ?

      Thank you x

I tried to think of things that you could achieve without them being too open ended. Plus the satisfaction of crossing things off the list.
The fact you have nearly 3 years to complete it appeals, I may have to print it out and stick it on my fridge as a constant reminder.

Go for it what ever you can manage x

I will make sure I keep you updated.
